Activity'sPossibility's by boat.
You can make a trip on a comfortable ship. The boat is 40 foot long and has a top speed of 25 knots. You can enjoy the scenery both from inside the boat and on the deck. On board there are toilets. Take a visit to the old power station in Tafjord. This power station is now a museum and you can find here a lot of history about this power station, but also about Tafjord. The museum is during the high season open from 10.30 pm till 17.30pm.
Take a walk in Tafjord and now the history.
The guide takes you trough Tafjord and the most beautiful places in the village. You hear a lot of the history but also you get the story of "The man with his dog" ho is still walking around the area. Also you get the story of how the big dam get his name, Zakariasdammen. During this walk you also make a visit in the oldest street of Tafjord.

Enjoy this fascinating bat safari at midnight. You have a tour with the guide (Batman) and he tells you al about bats. So he tells you example how much one bat takes for diner, or the way they hunting. You become to now about their way of living and why this area offers such good living conditions for bats. The bat safari is available from the end of July until September. Starts on 22.00 pm till 24.00 pm. Other possibility's for a nice stay
This night you are invited to become more familiar with Norwegian food and traditional folk music performed by local musicians. Enjoy our excellent buffet of classic local food, with both fish and meat. You can also look at local made gifts of wood and it is also possible for take a invitation to make a dance with our local dancers on the dance floor.
A walk I the orchards of Linge.
You are very welcome during this walk on the most northerly located orchards of the world. Your guide is born and raised here and will give you an introduction to the fruit production and the local history connected to Linge. Along the way you enjoy small pieces of folk music, and a taste of the fruits and berries that grows here.
This tour is available every Sunday in July, between 12.00 and 14.00 pm.
Strawberries taste.
The "Strawberry valley" of Valldal welcomes you to this tasty experience . First of all you are invited to learn more about the unique production of strawberries in this small geographical area. We offer you a taste of several strawberries products , all locally made and very tasty. Available by request during the season, from July to early August.
Clay pigeon shooting
Join local hunters and learn how to shoot at clay pigeons. You will be provided with a shotgun, 25 shots, and thorough instructions. During the break you are invited to gather around the bonfire and enjoy a tasty meal. Tailor made excursions What's more to do?
